As a candidate for VFW National JR Vice Commander In Chief 2026, Lynn Toomer believes in the importance of supporting our veterans and their families. Through his campaign, he hopes to bring attention to the issues facing our nation's heroes and to advocate for their needs.

The VFW is a vital source of information for veterans and their families. As JR Vice Commander In Chief, Lynn Toomer would work tirelessly to ensure that all members have access to the resources they need. He believes that knowledge is power, and that informed veterans are better able to navigate the challenges they face.
Merchandise sales are an important source of funding for his campaign. Lynn Toomer is committed to expanding the range of products available to supporters.

OBJECTIVES
Lynn plans to keep the VFW the GREATEST Veterans Service Organization by continuing to develop relationships with industry leaders in technology, networking and marketing while focusing on legislative priorities and training accessible to all.
LEADERSHIP

Lead the Department of Texas into becoming the largest Department in the World at 61,357 members.

Developed a billboard marketing campaign for the Department of Texas.

Implemented a new Department training team that developed a comprehensive and accessible virtual training program.

Assisted in the development of a new post on Fort Cavasos

Implemented a Department BBQ Cook-Off team used for networking and marketing.

Strengthened the relationship between the VFW and Auxiliary.
